Coast to coast

In 2016, I found myself on two unexpected journeys—one from British Columbia to Quebec, and another from Quebec to Halifax. These weren’t planned trips; life led me there through a series of unforeseen events. With great companions—some friends, some strangers— and my camera. We had little to no money, but the richness of life was found in the unfiltered realness of what we experienced.

Freedom, I learned, sometimes comes with a price. We weren’t looking to break any rules, we were just trying to find our way back home. But when society seems to fail you, it’s no surprise that people seek out other ways to truly live. That trip reminded me that life’s most priceless moments come when you least expect them—when you’re out there, unsure of where you’re headed, but you go anyway, trusting the journey
